I got this design from lynda.com. This design is all about balance. I really like this piece because of the colors. It reminds me of the original ying-yang symbol. I like the way these two pieces flow
together. It seems like there is a perfect amount of green and the perfect amount of white. I like the way they intertwine. This design show complete balance. I really like this one.
I agree this is a very balanced piece. It reminds me of the black and white one I 've seen. I love the new twist on this one. I will venture to say this is symmetrically balanced. I do like all the little extras.
ReplyDeleteI agree this design represents the ultimate in balance – that’s what the ying-yang is all about, right? I love the subtle use of nature to represent the delicate balance between humanity and the earth. The color used for the vines in the green section, the small tendrils that flow into the white areas, the solid white circle in contrast with the textured green one – a really amazing reminder that everything about life is a balancing act. Love, love, love this piece.

I agree, this image is very well balanced. The colors definitively make the image creative, and the green color with its texture only adds more visual weight to the image. If it wasn't for the green color, we wouldn't be able to see the image at all, because green is what gives detail to the picture. Also the picture is well centered, which adds unity and attractiveness to the symbol.
ReplyDeleteI like the balance of the positive and negative space in this image. The green on the white background gives the piece a soothing feel. It's very zen.
ReplyDeleteAs others have mentioned, this represents near perfect balance. The colors, shapes, placement, everything lines up near perfectly. With the addition of the organic plants it keeps this image very interesting.
